Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical assistance to our internal team and external clients. The ideal candidate will handle a wide range of IT-related issues, including hardware, software, networking, and cloud-based systems. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of IT systems and delivering timely solutions to complex technical problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- System Maintenance: Install, configure, and update computer systems and network devices, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Security: Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure data protection, including antivirus solutions and network security policies.
- Cloud & Remote Support: Manage and support cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and assist with remote access tools such as VPNs, remote desktop services, etc.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT infrastructure, including network diagrams, system configurations, and ticket logs. Generate reports on system performance and service desk statistics.
- Training & Assistance: Provide training to end-users on software applications and IT policies, ensuring efficient use of resources and security awareness.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support roles.
- Strong knowledge of network systems, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualization (AWS, VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are highly desirable.
